Job Summary:
The University of Massachusetts President's Office Information Technology and Services, located in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking an Intern – Integration Developer working side by side with IT professionals delivering technology solutions and services to the university. This is a 20 hour a week internship during the semester and 40 hours during the Summer for students currently enrolled at the five UMass campuses. This is a paid internship at $16.00 an hour and academic credit may also be available. Those selected for this internship will gain valuable knowledge of the inner workings of the University of Massachusetts.
Essential Functions:
- Attend Boomi Professional Developer training
- Assist with cleanup activities within Boomi development platform
- Assist with developing Design documents
- Attend team meetings and process design sessions
- Assist with the development of integrations
- Address and recognize areas for process/business improvement and propose potential solutions
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience):
- Current UMass student who is enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program of study.
- GPA 3.0 or higher.
- Be curious, creative, eager to learn, motivated, and willing to take initiative on assigned projects/tasks.
- Strong communications skills
- Reliable and detailed-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be well organized, detailed oriented, and possess good follow-up skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when interacting with staff.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
