Director of Debt Management and Compliance UMass President's Office
The Director of Debt Management and Compliance reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for debt management and compliance needs of the UMass Building Authority.
Associate Counsel-Labor UMass President's Office
Labor and Employment attorney position in the Office of the General Counsel (“OGC”) responsible for providing legal advice and representation, including concerning of alternative dispute resolution procedures and litigation prevention strategies, related to labor and employment matters for the University's five campuses and System Office.
Business Associate UMass President's Office
Reporting to the Director, Service and Quality, the Business Associate provides business, administrative, operations, and customer service support. This position will coordinate requests from University departments/unit, vendors and partners, and will identify, interpret, research and resolve issues to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction in compliance with all applicable University policies, processes and procedures. The Associate will assist departments/units on proper completion of procurement, accounts payable, contracts, sourcing, payroll, and procurement technology transactions, procedures, and available self-service tools. This position is the primary hiring path into the UPST, built around a 2-3 year rotational program where candidates will hone their overall business skills.
Senior Budget Analyst UMass President's Office
The Senior Budget Analyst for the UMass System Office is generally responsible for the collection, organization, analysis, and reporting of University financial data. Senior Budget Analysts are responsible for: understanding the University’s policies and guidelines; collaborating with system office departments and campus staff to collect data and prepare reports in various areas of University’s budget; working with campus finance teams to monitor and forecast revenues and expenses and state appropriations as well as other ad hoc requests as needed; identifying and monitoring key budget issues and priorities; actively participating on various working groups and policy development teams as needed; and assisting in the preparation of Board presentations and materials.
Manager, Application Development - PeopleSoft UMass President's Office
The Manager, Application Development - PeopleSoft is primarily responsible for leading a team of PeopleSoft developers focused on HCM, Finance and Student. The role will require working closely with the Application teams and/or Vendor partners to understand the end user requirements and to prioritize the work of the developers within the team.
Procurement Operations Specialist UMass President's Office
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Specialist will provide support and customer service to the University on all matters relating to the purchasing of goods, equipment and services and also manage the day to day supplier relationship that covers a wide variety of simple and complex requirements of products and or services.
Senior Data Engineer UMass President's Office
The University IT Services (UITS) Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) team is responsible for developing and managing shared services in the area of data and analytics for the entire UMass university system. These include: - Data services such as the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and related data integrations - Reporting, visualizations, and analytics tools for self-service use of university personnel - Data analysis and development services for various business lines including development of interactive dashboards and analytics The Senior Data Engineer is a key contributor in the EDA team, providing expertise in modeling data structures and designing, building, and optimizing data mappings. They are experienced in multiple data management technologies and support data analytics and data scientists in answering complex data driven business questions.
Immigration Specialist UMass President's Office
Under the direction of the Office of General Counsel (“OGC”) immigration attorneys, coordinate and perform numerous and varied highly confidential and complex duties concerning the University’s immigration matters. This is a hybrid position, working two days per week onsite in Westborough MA.
IT Client Support Specialist UMass President's Office
We are seeking candidates with strong customer service skills to join the Client Technology team for the UMass President’s Office at our One Beacon Street, Boston, offices. The Support Specialist will enable the University President and the Executive Office staff to be productive and effective in using technology in their work. While the environment is primarily Windows 10 based, Apple, Mac OS, and iOS support expertise is a plus. Expertise with Audio Visual a plus. Reporting to the Manager of Client Support, s/he will be responsible for providing concierge-style support for laptops, tablets, smartphones, conference room/AV equipment and software, personal productivity software, specialized business applications, and any other technology needs for the executive staff. S/he will provide 1-1 technology training and coaching, ensure enhanced data and device security measures are effective.
