General Summary of Position:
The Art History Program in the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences seeks applicants for an adjunct faculty member for Art History Survey I: Ancient to Medieval for the FAHSS Art History concentration in the BLA , the Art History minor, and Art + Design major. Teaching load is one 3-credit course per semester (with the possibility of repetition annually). They will provide a course that has a student-centered pedagogy and that will enable students to become familiar with the significant art and issues of the period. Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Applicant must have earned a minimum of an MA in Art History
- Evidence of teaching experience at the college level
- Familiarity with Blackboard or online teaching platforms
- Names and contact information of three references
Additional Considerations:
- Evidence that the candidate has already taught a course on the topic
