Computer Operators are responsible for providing comprehensive 24x7 operations support. This includes monitoring services of IT infrastructure, applications, batch jobs and associated components on a 24x7 basis to UITS customers as well as campus services. Operators are expected to work a flexible shift schedule, including 2nd and 3rd shift, weekends and holiday duties as required. The Computer Operator also provides excellent customer service, resolves tier one technical issues, and assists with Help Desk requests. |
Senior Contracts Specialist

The Senior Contract Specialist (SCS) will support the day to day operations of the Contracts team. This will include assigning cases and contracts, and ensuring an equal distribution of workloads to the Contract Specialists. Additionally, the SCS will advise the Contract Specialists on difficult cases/ contracts (provide an escalation path), and handle high profile contracts as assigned by the Contracts Manager.
The Senior Contracts Specialist will help identify and implement contract process improvements, with a focus on improvements in the Buyways system. The SCS will also support the Contracts Manager with planning team meetings focused on team training and system-wide communications regarding changes and improvements to the contracting process. |

Those selected for this internship will gain valuable knowledge of the inner workings of the University of Massachusetts.
Interns in the President's Office have the unique experience of working with staff supporting various functions, including the Controller's Office, UPST, HR, Treasury, Travel & Expense, Procurement, Payroll, etc. The objective of this internship will be to support the intern in building and solidifying their procurement, accounts payable, sourcing, contracts, HR, travel, business expense, and general administration & finance business processes while building the overall customer service skills. |

The Senior Information Technology Auditor supports Internal Audit’s goals by evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the University’s IT operations, compliance with related policy, regulation and IT controls. The Senior IT Auditor will be responsible for performing complex audits and other projects in accordance with policies established by the University Board of Trustees, The Institute of Internal Auditors’ Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Code of Ethics (“Standards”), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (“ISACA”) guidance, Internal Audit Policies and Procedures, and applicable regulations. |
