The Department of Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, with a starting date of September 1, 2025. We seek energetic candidates with strong research track records capable of establishing and maintaining a nationally recognized and externally funded applied research program in the fields of one or more of the following core areas: Power Systems, Power Electronics, Electric Motors and Drive, Power Apparatus and Protection, Smart Grids, Renewable Energy Systems, Wireless Power Transfer. The successful candidate will be expected to teach core courses in Power Engineering and related subjects.
Departmental Assistant (Custodial Assistant) UMass Amherst
The Custodial Assistant performs general custodial duties in connection with the cleaning and maintenance of buildings in the Auxiliary Enterprises Division.  Works as a member of a team cleaning custodial program CCAP – (Cleaning Cost Analysis Program), which includes housekeeping, cleaning, moving furniture and trash removal.  This is a temporary, unbenefited position.
