The position will begin September 1, 2026. We will prioritize candidates who are committed to improving student success in the first years of undergraduate study. The faculty member will focus on teaching and/or leading instructional teams in our core first-year General Biology courses. They will also stimulate the development of pedagogical models that can be adapted for other courses, establish an externally funded research program, direct the research of graduate and undergraduate students, and interact with a dynamic group of biologists in research areas ranging from molecular and cellular biology to ecology and evolution. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree and relevant postdoctoral research or teaching experience.
