Job Summary:

The Board of Trustees’ Office is responsible for assisting the Board members, coordinating committee and board meeting logistics, and record keeping. Confidentiality required on certain matters. The Board of Trustees’ Office collaborates with the President’s Office and the General Counsel’s Office. The Administrative Assistant supports and performs a range of administrative functions for the Board of Trustees Office under the supervision of the Secretary to the Board of Trustees.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain Board office calendar
  • Assist with coordinating meetings (in-person and virtual meetings)
  • Monitor and disseminate correspondence (external & internal) for Board members
  • Assist with inquiries from Board members, senior staff members, and campus staff
  • Assist with maintaining Board records
  • Assist with Board website updates
  • Assist with travel arrangements
  • Assist with travel reimbursements
  • Purchase office supplies where needed
  • Process vendor invoices
  • Assist in drafting of meeting minutes where needed
  • Perform other related projects/special assignments as assigned

Other Functions:

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years of related experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 and Zoom
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to work with staff across multiple departments
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail orientated and ability to follow instructions

Additional Details:

Salary commensurate with experience up to $65,000.00
