Information Technology Auditor III UMass President's Office
Under the guidance of Internal Audit Management and senior staff, the Information Technology (“IT”) Auditor III supports Internal Audit’s goals by taking part in evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the University’s IT operations and controls, and compliance with related policy, standards, regulation. Assignments will include, but not be limited to, conducting information technology audits, consultative and ad-hoc projects. The IT Auditor III will be responsible for performing more complex audits and other projects in accordance with policies established by the University Board of Trustees, The Institute of Internal Auditors’ Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Code of Ethics (“Standards”), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (“ISACA”) guidance, Internal Audit Policies and Procedures, and applicable regulations.
Business Analyst Intern UMass President's Office
The Assistant Vice President for Innovation and Operational Services seeks Interns to provide support to the Innovation and Operational Services Department for the Summer of 2023. The Department works across all administration and finance (A&F) functions to support innovation and operational improvements. The team uses a combination of business analysis, project management, and technology to help A&F departments improve operations and implement new initiatives.
Communications Internship - Part-Time UMass President's Office
The UMass President’s Office is seeking a part-time intern to work with the communications team over the Fall 2022 and Spring/Summer 2023. This position will be based at the UMass President’s Office at One Beacon Street in Boston. The UMass President’s Office communications team works to tell the university’s story of service and impact in a compelling and purposeful way to local, national and global audiences. The department is responsible for the UMass system’s marketing and communications efforts and works closely with the campus communications teams. The communications intern will be an integral part of the department’s daily activities and will gain valuable experience and exposure to established and emerging external relations practices.
Intern - Office of the General Counsel UMass President's Office
The University of Massachusetts President's Office, located in Shrewsbury and Boston, MA is offering a 20 hour per week internship for Fall 2022. This is a paid internship ($16.00 per hour) and academic credit may also be available. The selected intern will intern directly with the attorneys in the University of Massachusetts’ Office of the General Counsel. This internship is exclusive to currently enrolled UMass Dartmouth Law students in their first or second year. The intern will have the unique experience of working side by side with the Office of the General Counsel’s lawyers, who handle most aspects of legal representation for the University’s five-campus system, including corporate matters, labor issues, intellectual property, litigation, representation before federal and state agencies, and general legal assistance on the broad array of issues facing institutions of higher education.
