PMFO Federal Interest Real Property Facilities Expert UMass President's Office
The Head Start Program Management and Fiscal Operations (PMFO) business group of the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute (UMDI) provides essential program and fiscal management resources to Head Start Regional T/TA specialists and grantees. PMFO has been tasked to strengthen the determination, tracking and management of the Office of Head Start (OHS) federal interest in facilities nationwide, by building capacity in regional offices and through the Real Property Facilities Experts (RPFE) positions. The RPFE will enhance the Regional Office infrastructure by building institutional knowledge across the twelve OHS regions. Since services are provided nationwide, use is made of virtual technology and some travel is required for this position. The RPFE will be located at the assigned Regional Office and be responsible for coordinating the Regional facilities technical assistance activities and supporting the development of training materials and resources. The RPFE will be required to communicate with federal staff, PMFO management and staff, and UMDI.

PMFO has been tasked to strengthen the determination, tracking and management of the Office of Head Start (OHS) federal interest in facilities nationwide, by building capacity in regional offices and through the Real Property/Facilities Lead (RP/FL). Since services are provided nationwide, use is made of virtual technology and travel is required for this position. The RP/FL will enhance the Administration for Children and Families (ACF)/Office of Grants Management (OGM)/OHS infrastructure, by building institutional knowledge across regions and in the OHS Central Office. The RP/FL will be responsible for coordinating the Regional facilities technical assistance activities, developing training materials and resources, and providing support to a cadre of Real Property Facilities Experts (RPFE) housed in Regional Offices. The RP/FL will be required to communicate with federal staff, including OGM, PMFO management and staff, and UMDI. Travel within the US is required.
